Everyone’s read this book lots of times, right? And for good reason – it’s one of the best picture books out there!
Your middle schoolers are going to love this lesson. In fact, they will probably love it so much and be so into it, that you’ll need to extend it over a few days (I have two days written on the lesson plan, but please give your students as much time as they need).

Thanks so much for reading! Hope you are enjoying these lessons 🙂

Jenna…I can not get the lesson plan to print. Is there are trick? Thanks for posting.
If you click on the lesson plan, it should take you to a screen that allows you to print. You could also right-click on the image and save it to a file on your computer and print from there 🙂
Love your work! I, too, am having trouble getting the lesson to print. I had the same trouble on the lesson for Enemy Pie. I tried saving it on my computer but I am unable to print that either. What am I doing wrong??? Thanks
This sounds a bit beyond my tech skills, Julie! Sorry!
When I click on the picture (in Google Chrome), it opens to full-size in a new tab where I can print. Then, if I right-click on the picture, it brings up a "Save image as" where I can save it as a jpeg on my computer. From there, I can print right from "My Photos" or I can open it in a Word or PowerPoint (sized to letter) or Publisher document and print from there.
Hope one of those options helps!
Thank you. I played around with it awhile this morning and got it to print. Looking forward to using it with my kiddos this year!!
